OUR HISTORY

Detroit Community Care Network (DCCN) is a faith-based organization that serves the Detroit community by supporting the health & well-being of its people. In 2016, a group of dedicated volunteers from Third New Hope Baptist Church began work to build a care network to serve members of its congregation and surrounding community in need of support with basic needs, food, shelter, employment, etc.  In June 2017, Third New Hope Community Care Network with the support of St. John Providence Health System’s Mission Fund began serving its members and the community at large.  The success of Third New Hope’s work was shared with other church leaders who quickly joined the initiative, forming what is known today as Detroit Community Care Network (DCCN).
